Rocky Run Rockets Swim Team

Swim Team Practice and Swim Meets will be held at the Garnet Valley Middle School Pool

The Rocky Run Swim Team is open to full members 6-18 years of age.  The season begins with stroke and turn clinics in September 2009.  Swim Team practice will begin October 5th. The competitive season begins in November and ends in February with team championships.  Swimmers must qualify for District, State and National Championships.

The Developmental Pre-Team Clinics is for ages 8 and under, and those swimmers who are not ready for a competitive Swim Team, these clinics will teach all four competitive strokes as well as work on endurance. Several mini-swim meets will be scheduled throughout the year.

The Rocky Run YMCA Swim Team has been officially accepted in the Penn Del League.  The Penn Del league is made up of YMCA’s in Pennsylvania and Delaware.
